Jaia Robotics, Inc. (“Jaia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values transparency and responsible data handling. This may include information you provide directly, information collected automatically through your browser or device, information we receive from service providers and business partners, and information available from public or professional sources. California guidance, which is the gold standard for data privacy protection in the United States, expects privacy policies to explain the categories of personal information collected, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection and use, and the categories of third parties involved.

  • Inquiry details, support requests, contact requests, procurement inquiries, and correspondence
  • Information you provide when you subscribe to updates, download materials, or contact us through a webform
  • Job applicant information, such as first name, last name, email address, which position you are applying for, cover letter, resume/CV, work history, education, certifications, work authorization information, and related recruiting materials

  • Diagnostic, security, fraud-prevention, and performance data

Google Analytics collects first-party cookies, device/browser data, IP-address-related data handling, and on-site activities to measure and report user interactions.

Information we receive from third parties

We may receive personal information from third parties such as:

  • Analytics providers
  • Advertising and measurement providers
  • Our CRM vendor
  • Social media and professional networking platforms
  • Publicly available, professional, or business information sources

2. How we use personal information

We may use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website, products, and services
  • To respond to inquiries and manage business relationships
  • To communicate with prospects, customers, and job applicants
  • To send marketing and product communications where permitted by law
  • To measure website performance, campaign effectiveness, and audience engagement
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity
  • To comply with legal obligations, contractual requirements, and lawful requests

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies to operate our website, understand how it is used, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

We may use these technologies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary technologies to support core site functionality, security, and fraud prevention
  • Analytics technologies to understand traffic, usage patterns, performance, and content effectiveness
  • Advertising and measurement technologies to measure campaign performance, attribute conversions, and improve media efficiency
  • Functional technologies to remember settings and preferences
  • Embedded-content technologies when pages include third-party forms, video, or similar features

Where required by applicable law, we seek consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookie preferences through CookieBot, your browser settings, and other privacy controls described below.

4. Google technologies

Jaia uses Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, measure engagement, and improve site performance and content. Google requires sites using Google Analytics to disclose that they use Google Analytics and explain how Google collects and processes data.

Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies, and may collect device/browser data and on-site activity to report on interactions with the site. Google also offers an opt-out browser add-on, and users can manage certain advertising-related settings through Google Ads Settings.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads to manage and measure advertising campaigns. Google’s customer-data policies only allow advertisers to upload first-party data that customers have shared directly with them. Note that we share this customer information with Google Ads and Google Analytics for ad measurement services only. Google prohibits sharing personally identifiable information with Google through remarketing tags, conversion tags, or product feeds in ways not permitted by policy, such as through URLs. We comply fully with these data policies.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor and improve our site’s presence in Google Search. Search Console helps site owners view search-performance data such as impressions, clicks, search queries, and related site visibility metrics.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage analytics and advertising tags on our website. Google Tag Manager itself may collect aggregated diagnostics data about tag firing, but does not otherwise collect, retain, or share information about visitors to customers’ properties, aside from standard HTTP request logs that are deleted within 14 days.

5. Social media, embedded content, and third-party analytics

Jaia may maintain pages or profiles on third-party platforms and may use third-party tools for audience measurement, campaign reporting, embedded content, or related business communications. If you interact with Jaia on a third-party platform or view embedded content on our site, that third party may collect information directly from your browser or device under its own privacy policy and settings. Jaia’s public website currently links to LinkedIn, Vimeo, and HubSpot, and hosts embedded YouTube content.

6. When we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers that support website hosting, analytics, advertising, communications, recruiting, CRM, accounting, security, and related operations
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel
  • Affiliates or successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, and other parties where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to manage our relationships, respond to requests, support recruiting, maintain security, comply with the law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of personal information as appropriate.

For job applicants and employment-related records, private employers are generally required by EEOC regulations to retain personnel and employment records for at least one year from the date the record was made or the personnel action occurred, whichever is later, and longer when a charge or claim requires preservation.

8. Storage, security, and cross-border processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved.

Personal information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other locations where we or our service providers operate.

9. Access, correction, and deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions. We may retain information where necessary to comply with the law, protect security, complete requested transactions, maintain records, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

For privacy requests covered by applicable U.S. state privacy laws, we commit to responding within 10 business days, and actioning the request within 45 calendar days.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at info@jaia.tech or by mail at:

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your U.S. state of residence and whether the law applies to Jaia, you may have the right to request access to personal information, request deletion, request correction, obtain a portable copy of certain personal information, or opt out of certain sales, sharing, and targeted advertising.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercise those rights without discrimination.

Rhode Island’s Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act took effect on January 1, 2026. Its broader controller and processor obligations apply only above statutory thresholds, but Rhode Island also separately requires clear disclosure if a covered controller sells personal data or processes personal data for targeted advertising.
