A combat logistics team equipped with a five JaiaBot system locate themselves in a covered location on the riverbank and launch the five JaiaBots with RF Comms in silent mode to carry out a bathymetric, bottom type and current vector assessment across a five hundred meter swath of the river. The JaiaBots are retrieved, and the data downloaded to the Jaia data visualization tool. The optimal crossing point is identified without any of the combat logistics team needing to enter the river.
