About the Role

As a Business & Marketing Intern at Jaia Robotics,  you will support our sales, customer success, and marketing teams. This is a unique opportunity to work across functional areas of sales administration, marketing, and operations to help grow the blue economy.

Role Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to develop prospects throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Assist in maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM)system and WordPress website.
• Create content for social media, press releases, blog.
• Prepare for and attend company meetings and industry events.
• Collaborate with both sales and service teams to foster customer engagement.
• Assist in preparing quotations and contribute to proposal submission.
• Attend cross-functional meetings to gain an understanding of each department’s role within the organization.

This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative setting, requiring interns to take a proactive, detail-oriented approach to tackle real-world business and marketing challenges and grow Jaia’s presence in the blue economy.

Capabilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to operate in a team environment and to clearly explain problems and potential solutions.

Demonstrated track record of effective troubleshooting and resolving issues.

You must be able to create and maintain trusting relationships with teammates and customers.

Your employment is conditional upon reference and background checks and providing us documentation regarding your ability to work in the United States. You must sign all required Jaia documents including, but not limited to, Assignments of Intellectual Property, Inventions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and such other agreements deemed necessary by Jaia.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. You must also be eligible to obtain security clearance.

• Experience in engineering, oceanography, business, communications, or marketing.
• Knowledge and experience operating our JaiaBot vehicles.
• Commitment to protect our environment.
• Seamanship or boating skills.
